More than Biodiesel: Our Commitment to Special Quality Products
glycerin
Glycerin is a product of the biodiesel manufacturing process that comes from vegetable oils (soy, cotton, palm, etc.) and animal fats (beef, pork and chicken). Glycerin has numerous uses, particularly in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
Fatty Acid
Fatty acid is a product obtained from the neutralization of vegetable oils or animal fats in the production of biodiesel. It is a by-product of the treatment of crude glycerin, which is separated by esterification process. Among other uses, it can be burned in boilers, used as a chemical oil, animal nutrition, additives for lubricants, grease amines, detergents, disinfectants and special greases.
Soapstock
Soapstock is the main product of the vegetable oil and animal fat refining industry. It has a high content of saponified fatty acids and is formed during the neutralization stage of the chemical refining of the fatty material. It is used for various purposes, such as in the soap industry and for the production of a concentrate of free fatty acids.

Our Sustainable Legacy
Currently with two industrial facilities – in Formosa (GO) and Simões Filho (BA), our production has exceeded 2.4 billion liters of biodiesel from multiple raw materials, such as vegetable oils and animal fat.
Total production of 2 billion, 400 million liters of biodiesel in 19 years.
The tons of Co2 that were not emitted equal 52.3 million trees planted.
Our biodiesel production avoided the emission of 7.48 million metric tons of Co2 to the atmosphere.
The amount of square meters equals 319,000 soccer pitches.
